Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American musician, producer and singer is also a writer. Her most well-known work is her character Tara Maclay on the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and appeared in her own films Chance as well as Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she starred in Kiss the Bride. Benson was born January 8 1977 in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. She has a younger sister Danielle, who is an artist. Her father, Benson's was Jewish, and while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. Her family was raised going to a Reform church in Alabama. Benson has appeared on Morganville The Series and in The Killing Jar since Buffy's end.
