SarahAahoo Jahansouzshahi (10 January 1980), known professionally as Sarah Shahi is an American model and actress. She played Carmen in the TV show The L Word in 2005, Kate Reed in the USA Network legal drama Fairly Legal (2011-2012) and Sameen Shaw in the CBS crime drama Person of Interest (2012-2016). 2 She was an integral part of the show's main Det. Dani Reese in Life,[3] and as a character in Alias. 4 She was an actor in Reverie in the year 2018. She was a frequent character in City on a Hill on Showtime in 2019[55. She was also a part of seven episodes of The Rookie playing the role of Jessica Russo in the romantic character Jessica Russo. Shahi met Robert Altman on the set Dr. T and the Women In Texas. She was encouraged to make the move to Hollywood and was offered roles in Alias and Dawson's Creek. In 2005 she appeared in the supporting character role of DJ Carmen de la Pica Morales on The L Word, which was her first appearance on the show's second season. Shahi's two year contract was not renewed following the end of season four. She was also written out.
